Orders usually dispatch from Geelong within 1–3 business days, except during any dispatch break announced on our website. Australia Post standard delivery is estimated at 2–8 business days after dispatch.

Standard Australian shipping is free for orders of $80 or more, or $10 for orders under $80. Eligible discounts appear at checkout. See our shipping page for current delivery information.

At Skin Botanist, we take immense pride in the superior quality of our products and believe your skin health will improve with their use. Before incorporating any of our products into your routine, it's essential to examine the product details attentively and adhere to the usage instructions suggested. Should you find any product less than satisfactory, kindly reach out to us within a week of your purchase to discuss a resolution.

Skin Botanist cannot be held accountable for individual reactions to specific ingredients. We urge you to meticulously review our ingredient lists, ensuring you follow the recommended usage guidelines. If you're aware of any allergies or sensitivities, steer clear of ingredients that might provoke a reaction. If you have a diagnosed allergy or have had skin reactions, seek advice from your healthcare professional before use. Cease usage immediately if any adverse reaction is observed.

Caution for Nut Allergy Sufferers: Botanical Face Oil and Botanical Body Butter contain sweet almond oil, including when supplied in kits and rituals. Bare formulas are made without sweet almond oil, but our facility handles this ingredient. We do not claim the Bare range is nut-free or suitable for every allergy. If you have a diagnosed allergy, review the complete ingredient list with your allergy clinician before use.

Should you encounter a defective, damaged, or leaking product, we offer store credit as compensation. Due to the nature of personal care products, they cannot be repurposed. As such, we don’t accept returns or offer refunds for changes of heart.

Recognising that skincare is deeply personal, we advise newcomers to research our product descriptions thoroughly and reach out to us with any questions prior to purchase.

Our products are anhydrous botanical formulas: no water, no fillers, no synthetics. Because there is no water in the jar, the formulas do not need the same synthetic preservative systems used in many water-based creams.

Our products have a shelf life of approximately 12 to 18 months from the time of purchase. To experience them at their freshest, we recommend using them within 6 months of opening.

How to keep your formula fresh

1. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
2. Keep lids tightly closed. This minimises exposure to air and keeps the texture stable.
3. Use clean, dry hands. Water can introduce bacteria and shorten the life of a balm or butter.
4. Note the date of opening. Fresh small-batch skincare is best used, not saved for later.
5. Trust your senses. Natural scent, colour, and texture can vary by batch. If something smells or looks wrong, replace it.

Think of each jar as a concentrated botanical formula. Treat it with care and it will care for your skin beautifully in return.

The Bare range is made without added fragrance or essential oils. This does not establish suitability for every person during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Review the ingredient list with your healthcare professional if you need individual advice.

Suitability depends on the product and the individual child. Our Baby Balm is formulated for everyday care of delicate baby skin. Check the directions and full ingredient list on each product page. Natural ingredients and fragrance-free formulas do not guarantee that a product will suit every child.

For a child with eczema, a known allergy or ongoing irritation, ask their healthcare professional before introducing a new product.
