That is why we love the work of Parent Thread, a local Geelong and Surf Coast-based not-for-profit creating spaces for parents, caregivers and families to feel more connected. Their work is built around a simple but deeply important idea: building a village does not always happen easily, and sometimes people need gentle, intentional spaces to help them find their people.
One of Parent Thread’s core programs, Bloom and Connect, supports expectant mums to begin forming meaningful connections before their baby arrives. It offers a warm and welcoming space to share, reflect and meet others at a similar stage of life, helping women build a circle of support during a season that can feel both beautiful and uncertain.
