The Botanical Discovery Kit brings together four of our best-selling oil-based formulas in generous travel sizes, so you can experience the difference that concentrated, water-free skincare makes to dry, tight, or overworked skin.

Each product is cold-blended in small batches in Geelong, Australia, using certified organic and botanical ingredients. No synthetics, no preservatives, no fillers. Just concentrated plant oils, butters, and botanicals, formulated with a clear purpose.

WHAT'S IN THE KIT

Face Oil — 15ml A lightweight blend of certified organic apricot kernel, jojoba, and sweet almond oils, selected for their ability to absorb quickly and leave skin feeling soft and balanced. Delicately scented with rose geranium essential oil. Use morning and/or night as a daily face oil or gentle oil cleanser.

Face Balm — 15ml A concentrated, water-free face balm made with certified organic jojoba oil, evening primrose oil, mango butter, and beeswax. Melts on contact, absorbs cleanly, and helps skin feel nourished and supported. Formulated with certified organic frankincense essential oil. Use at night, or as a targeted treatment on dry or tight areas.

Body Butter — 30ml A rich, cold-blended body butter made with certified organic shea butter, coconut oil, mango butter, and sweet almond oil. Designed for dry or very dry skin. Scented gently with certified organic sweet orange and bergamot. Apply to damp skin after bathing for best absorption.

Lip Balm — 5ml A simple, preservative-free lip balm made with certified organic shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, and apricot kernel oil. No stickiness. A light, refreshing finish. Use as needed throughout the day.

WHY WATER-FREE SKINCARE FEELS DIFFERENT

Most skincare products are formulated with water as the base ingredient. Water dilutes the formula and requires preservatives to prevent bacterial growth. 

Skin Botanist formulas are anhydrous, meaning they contain no water at all. Every ingredient in the formula is active. Plant oils, botanical butters, and concentrated botanicals, with nothing added to bulk out the product.

The result is a formula that goes further with less. A small amount is enough. Skin feels nourished, not coated.

BOTANIST'S NOTE

Because these formulas are made with pure oils, butters, and botanicals and no synthetic stabilisers, you may notice slight variation in colour, scent, or texture between batches. This is normal. It reflects the natural character of the ingredients.

Occasional graininess can occur in the face balm. It is purely cosmetic and easily resolved. Read the guide here.

FAQS

Are the travel sizes large enough to properly try the products? Yes. Because all four formulas are oil-based and water-free, a small amount goes a long way. The 15ml face oil and face balm will each last three to four weeks with daily use.

Can I buy full sizes after trying the kit? Yes. Every product is available in full size individually.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin? The face oil and face balm are well suited to dry, sensitive, and mature skin. If your skin has no tolerance for essential oils or fragrance at all, the Bare Discovery Kit is formulated without them.

Does this kit contain allergens? The face oil and body butter contain sweet almond oil. If you have a nut allergy, please avoid those two products and consult your healthcare provider before use.

Is this a good gift? Yes. The kit gives the recipient a chance to try four different formulas and find their favourites before committing to full sizes.
