Most lip balms contain peppermint, fragrance, sweetener or flavour. Bare Lip Balm contains none of them. Just five ingredients: shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, apricot kernel oil and vitamin E. The lip balm we recommend for chapped, reactive or fragrance-sensitive lips.

Botanist note
Made with pure oils, butter and beeswax and no synthetic stabilisers, this balm may soften or firm as temperatures change. This is normal and does not affect the formula.
Allergy information: The Bare formulas are made without sweet almond oil, but our facility handles sweet almond oil. We do not claim they are nut-free or suitable for every allergy. Check the full ingredient list and ask your allergy clinician before use if you have a diagnosed allergy.

Apply to lips as needed throughout the day. Reapply after eating, drinking or in dry and cold conditions.

Why our skincare looks different
Most skincare is 70 to 80% water. Once it dries, what's left is fragrance, preservatives and a thin film of actives. We remove the water entirely.
Every Skin Botanist formula is anhydrous - concentrated botanical oils, butters and waxes, with nothing diluted. Cold-blended by hand in Victoria, Australia, in small batches small enough that we notice if a butter sets differently or a scent lifts stronger. The texture is richer. A little goes further. Skin feels nourished, not coated.
